What We Do

Promoting Education and Literacy
We provide access to educational materials that inspire learning and curiosity. Our programs include:
- Book Distribution : Thousands of books have been distributed to schools, libraries, and community centers across Afghanistan, empowering students and educators.

Our Reach
Wakman Organization has worked extensively across Afghanistan, reaching over 50,000 individuals from some of the most remote rural areas. Currently, we are actively engaged in around 200 communities across these provinces: Kabul, Nangarhar, Herat, Kandahar, and Balkh.

Kabul is one of the provinces in Afghanistan with a diverse population and significant challenges, including poverty and limited access to education and resources. Recognizing the high concentration of vulnerable communities, Wakman Organization decided to focus its efforts in this region to empower individuals and promote sustainable livelihoods.
Currently, Wakman Organization operates in three key districts of Kabul: District 3, District 7, and District 13, working closely with women and families in approximately 4,040 households to bring meaningful change and hope for a better future.

Nangarhar is a province in Afghanistan known for its rich culture and history but also faces significant challenges, including poverty, limited access to education, and environmental degradation. Recognizing the needs of its communities, Wakman Organization has prioritized this region to support vulnerable populations and promote sustainable development.
Currently, Wakman Organization operates in three key districts of Nangarhar: Jalalabad, Behsud, and Surkh Rod, working with women and families across approximately 4,040 households to empower individuals and foster resilience for a brighter future.

Herat, a historically significant province in Afghanistan, faces pressing challenges such as poverty, limited educational opportunities, and environmental concerns. Understanding the needs of its people, Wakman Organization has focused its efforts on empowering vulnerable communities and promoting sustainable livelihoods in the region.
Currently, Wakman Organization is active in three key districts of Herat: Injil, Guzara, and Karukh, collaborating with women and families in approximately 4,040 households to create pathways for growth, education, and resilience.
